Time and date only, which is the Royal Oak as Gérald Genta drew it in 1972 — before the collection grew to hold chronographs, perpetual calendars and minute repeaters. The current generation carries a reworked case and bracelet, shaped to sit closer to the wrist without altering the octagonal bezel and exposed screws that made the design recognisable.
